"AA" (Age 9): "AA" league is to prepare players for next year, Majors Continental, National, or American. This will be the first year players will pitch the entire game. Players will be selected through a tryout and draft. Playoffs will be played at the end of the season with seeding determined by league standings.

Majors (Ages 9,10,11,12): A Small percentage of players will be drafted into the American League. All the remaining players will be eligible for the National League. After the National League team rosters are filled, the remaining players will tryout for Majors Continental.

American League (Ages 11 & 12 ONLY):
This is a very competitive league where the players are selected after a tryout.   Parents and/or Players must sign a commitment form in order to play in the American League. We have added a Designated Hitter to the batting order this year. Each player must bat at least once and play every other inning of each game. Games are played at the Civic Center fields.

National League (Ages 9-12): This league is a little less competitive than the American League. It prepares a player for the possible move to the American League next season. All rules are the same as the American League and most games are played at the Civic Center.

Continental League (Ages 9-12): Less competitive than the National League, this league consists of 9, 10, & 11 year old players who were not selected for the American or National League. These players will be selected through a tryout and draft. Standings will be kept, and play-offs will follow after the season. Most games and practices are held at the Welch Elementary school fields.  12 year olds may request to play in this league, but they can’t pitch.

Prep League (Ages 13-14): This league is for the 13 year old players as well as those 14 year old players who may not want to play in the more competitive environment of the 14-15 year-old Jr Little League. The Prep Team's will offer the players an opportunity to try different positions on the 90-foot field. All players will bat and play the field every game. The league will play against teams from other organizations. Standings are kept with playoffs at the end of the regular season.

Junior Little League (Ages 14-15): This is a competitive league that includes 14 -15 year olds. A 13 year old may play in this league as long as he/she is drafted by the end of the 4th round. We play our own Northampton teams as well as those from Holland and Upper Makefield. Playoffs  will be played at the conclusion of the regular season.  Seven inning games are played at the Civic Center, St Leonard’s and Sol Feinstone fields.

Senior Babe Ruth (Ages 16, 17, 18): There are no playing time requirements, but from past experiences, our managers have given players plenty of playing time. This league plays a 20+ game schedule, starting in May, against teams from Northampton and the surrounding areas (see Babe Ruth).

Suburban Travel (Ages 8-15): Suburban Travel provides those youngsters who wish to compete at a higher level than the in-house program the ability to play additional games on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons.

13 Legion (Age 13) & Junior Legion (Ages 14 - 15): These are competitive travel programs that play teams throughout the surrounding area. There are tryouts in March and the season runs until June with a tournament to decide the champion. Beginning with the Spring 2006 season, players on these rosters will not play in our in-house program.

American Legion (Ages 16 - 18): This is where the best players participate in the most competitive baseball in the area. American Legion players are not permitted to play baseball in other leagues during the season. The season starts in May after high school ball is over and runs until July.
